Mentre i prezzi a settimana si riferiscono alla locazione di un appartamento con uso della cucina, quindi senza colazione, da un minimo di 2 posti ad un massimo di 6, a cui vanno aggiunti gli extra di luce 0.30/kw, acqua 2.50 €/m3, gas € 5.00/settimana, pulizia finale € 16.00 per i monolocali ed € 25.00 per i bilocali, noleggio biancheria facoltativo € 10.00 a persona ed € 10.00 per ogni cambio richiesto durante il periodo della locazione. La casa appartiene ai Pittorino, una delle famiglie più importanti dell’isola. C’è addirittura una statua del nonno dei padroni di casa nella piazza principale del paese. Egli fu infatti il primo dottore sull’isola ad andare a visitare i pazienti nei villaggi più remoti a dorso di mulo. Un giardino di piante tropicali circonda la casa: banani, ibisco, stelle di natale, piante di pepe verde ed una pianta originaria del Madagascar con proprietà medicinali sperimentata dall’illustre nonno, che ha anche inventato un digestivo, l’Eupeptico Pittorino. I padroni di casa sono giustamente fieri della tradizione di famiglia e della loro isola; sono anche una miniera di informazioni per gli ospiti, che saranno invitati, con la calda insistenza che distingue l’ospitalità del sud, a condividere cesti di frutta del giardino come loti, mandarini, arance, albicocche, susine, fichi, melograni, fichi d’india, uva e more, a seconda della stagione: frutti che diventano anche ottime marmellate per la colazione degli ospiti.

The price per person comprises breakfast/brunch – prepared and served by the lady of the house in the sitting room or in the garden – private bathroom with shower, TV, fridge, ceiling fan, safe, autonomous heating, biweekly cleaning, biweekly change of bathroom towels, weekly change of bed linen, film room with titles available for viewing. The weekly rates are for the rental of an apartment (2 to 6 people) with use of the kitchen, hence breakfast is not included. There are extras to be paid: electricity EUR 0.30/kw, water EUR 2.50/m3, gas EUR 5.00/week and final cleaning bill, which is EUR 16.00 for one room and EUR 25.00 for two rooms. Bed linen can be hired for EUR 10.00/person and a further EUR 10.00 for each change thereafter The house belongs to the Pittorino family, one of the island’s most important families. There is even a statue of the grandfather in the main public square. He was the first doctor to visit patients in the remotest parts of the island using a mule for transportation. The house is surrounded by a tropical garden: banana trees, ibiscus, green pepper plants and a plant originally from Madagascar with healing properties tested by non other than the illustrious grandfather, who also invented a digestive drink: the Eupeptico Pittorino. Der Preis pro Person im Doppelzimmer enthält: Frühstück / Brunch, vorbereitet von der Dame des Hauses im Garten oder Aufenthaltsraum, privates Badezimmer mit Dusche, TV, Kühlschrank, Deckenventilator, Safe, autonome Heizung, tägliche Zimmerordnung, Reinigung und Wechsel der Badezimmertücher halbwoechentlich, Wechsel der Bettwäsche wöchentlich. Ein Raum für VHS mit Filmen steht zur Verfügung. Die wöchentlichen Preise beziehen sich auf die Apartments mit Küchen benutzung ohne Frühstück, fuer 2 bis 6 Personen. Extrakosten: Elektrizität € 0,30 Kw, Wasser € 2,50 /m3, Gas € 5,00 für die Woche, Schlussreinigung 16 € für 1 Raum. 25 € für 2 Räume, Bettwäsche kann für 10 € pro Person ausgeliehen werden, jeder Wechsel während des Aufenthaltes beträgt 10 €. Die Ferienvilla gehört der Familie Pittorino, einer der alt eingesessenen Familien der Insel. Das Denkmal des Grossvaters, der erste Artz der Insel, steht auf dem Platz vor dem Haus. Ein tropischer Garten mit Bananen, Ibisco, Weihnachtssterne, grünen Pfeffer und Pflanzen aus Madagascar umgibt die Villa. Der berühmt und bekannte Grossvater, hat aus exotischen Pflanzen einen Verdauungssaft, Eupeptico Pittorino, hergestellt. Die jetzigen Hausbesitzer und Nachkommen sind stolz auf ihre Familiengeschichte und teilen gerne ihr Wissen über die Insel und ihre Bewohner mit ihren Gästen. Als Zeichen der Gastfreundschaft, die vor allem im Süden sehr gepflegt wird, werden die Früchte des Gartens, je nach Jahreszeit: Mandarinen, Kakipflaumen, Apfelsinen, Pflaumen, Aprikosen, Feigen, Weintrauben und Andere den Gästen angeboten und als hausgemachte Marmelade zum Frühstück gereicht.
